Notice and Information to Content Providers, Publishers and Users About the Policy for Repeat Copyright Infringers
It is the policy that all EdReadySearch.org ("the site") content providers, publishers, and users of work accessible on the site shall respect the copyright and other intellectual property rights of others.
Accordingly, in appropriate circumstances, an EdReadySearch.org content provider, publisher, or user who is a repeat copyright infringer shall be terminated according to the following policy and procedures:
- Educational Research Service (ERS) will notify the alleged copyright infringer of the complaint received against it that ERS has taken down the allegedly infringing material, the name and contact information for the complainant, and the details received concerning the alleged infringement. ERS will ask for the alleged copyright infringer for a statement or explanation concerning the infringement of which it is accused.
- ERS may, but is it not under any obligation to, consider or decide upon the validity or merits of the alleged copyright infringement, but ERS is not obligated to return the allegedly infringing work to site accessibility.
- ERS may, in its sole discretion, terminate the alleged infringing content provider's, publisher's, or user's access to EdReadySearch.org.
- Copyright claims and infringement litigation is very expensive. The resources of EdReadySearch.org and ERS are modest and neither is in this business nor has any duty to prosecute, defend or otherwise litigate the copyright claims or disputes of content providers and users of materials on the site. The claims are matters between the other parties.
