ERS Custom SearchTM
"Too little time. Too much information."
If you can't find the information you need on EdReadySearch.org, request a Custom Search, an individually prepared collection of the best research on the K-12 education topic of your choice, from Educational Research Service.
What kind of research can I ask for?
Whether the subject is broad, such as "mathematics curriculum," or as specific as "recent research on number sense," an experienced Issues Analyst will prepare a Custom Search for you. ERS Issues Analysts utilize a vast network of electronic databases, a 20,000+ volume library, and other print and online resources to get the information you need.
How do I request a Custom Search?
Requesting a Custom Search is easy. Simply contact ERS by phone at 800-791-9308, by fax at 800-791-9309, or by email at ers@ers.org. Or, complete our quick online request form!
Specify the type and amount of information you need, being as specific as possible regarding your topic, the grade levels you would like addressed, and any other details regarding your request that you can provide.
How much does it cost?
The base cost for a Custom Search is $180. School districts and organizations that subscribe to ERS are eligible for a number of free Custom Searches, based on their subscription level, with additional requests charged at the 50% discount rate of $90 each. Individual ERS subscribers may purchase Custom Searches at a 25% discount for $135. Contact ERS for additional pricing information or to subscribe.
When can I expect it?
The completion time for a Custom Search is about 7 to 10 business days from the day your request is received by ERS. We understand, though, that sometimes you need this vital research quickly. We are happy to provide express service for an additional fee. Please call for details.
